New manufacture of cast steel gate valves 30с41(941)нж, 30с64(964)нж, 30с927нж series, DN to 1000 mm in Siberia Siberian Pipeline Company starts the manufacture of gate valves DN 400, 800, 1000 mm in Novosibirsk. In gate valve design are used metal–graphite ring sealings instead of paronite.

ARMAGUS: modern manufacture of special valves 2007 was very successful for Armagus Valve Plant, located in Gus–Chrustalny. The plant fulfilled all tasks, especially in field of new valve designs development and big commercial projects realization. Design engineering was made jointly with leading Russian design institutes: Giprosynthesis from Volgograd, State Scientific & Research Institute of Organic Chemistry (GosNIIOHT) and Souzpromniiproject from Moscow.
Letters about school The School of Valve Professionalism of International Valve Magazine receives a lot of letters. We have a notebook to write all the suggestions of our students. It is a kind of a book of complaints and suggestions. We have chosen a few the most constructive and critical notes and letters. These are the letters from our most concerned students. The School is going to continue its work in 2008 and we hope for more students and letters.

6th Saint–Petersburg Valves Master–Class November, 7–9, 6th Saint–Petersburg Training–Seminar “Valve Master–Class” was held in Marshal Hotel. The organizer of the event was the Valve Professional School by D.Grak.
Valve Oscar Award 2007. October 16, 2007, Moscow, Sokolniki Exhibition Centre International Valve Magazine has established Valve Oscar Award for outstanding achievements in the field of valve engineering for the first time in the history of the world valve industry. The first Valve Oscar Award ceremony was held at Forum “Pumps. Compressors. Valves” in Moscow in 2006. This event received wide coverage in mass media: Expert magazine, International Valve Magazine, Trud newspaper, Molodoy Kommunar newspaper and other periodicals published reports and biographies of the first prize–winners.

On October 8, 2007, one–day Practical Seminar of International Valve Magazine was held together with ZAO Konar and Partnership “Sealing Techniques”. The seminar took place at ZAO Konar in Chelyabinsk.

Grak. 5th Saint–Petersburg Training–Seminar “Valve Master–Class”, August, 22–24, 2007 August, 22–24, 2007, 5th Saint–Petersburg Training–Seminar “Valve Master–Class” was held in Lancaster Court Hotel, Saint–Petersburg. The event was dedicated to training of managers and specialists of valve companies. Practical colloquium «China Valves in Russian Market» was held as a part of the “Valve Master–Class” August, 24. The President of Chinese Valve Association Huang Mingua sent a welcoming speech to the seminar participants.
